Australian Flowers Week took over the Queensland TAFE South Bank campus in September, to showcase some of the best contemporary floristry styles; challenge florist and student skills; and share business, marketing and design expertise from industry experts. Amid buskers and food trucks and artists painting, over 200 attendees listened to presentations, took part in discussions, entered competitions and watched floral creations being made.
Premium Greens Australia Marketing specialist Andrea Caldecourt presented “40 Ideas in 40 Minutes” to an audience in the main auditorium during the event. Ideas ranged from window display to in-store signage, retail locations to online shops, simplifying social media and how to rank higher in Google search.
